American Voices
American Voices documents one man’s journey as he struggles to come to terms with a preemptive war on Iraq and his responsibilities as an uninformed United States citizen in a post-9/11 world. Starting in 2003 and covering a span of 12 years and over 10,000 miles, the film documents Americans’ views on the meaning of America, its role in the world, the wars on terror, corporate media’s influence on society and political ideologies and a compelling array of social topics and issues. Traveling through the tapestry of the American social and political landscape, the journey uncovers a striking and unexpected connection amongst those who believe they are hopelessly divided.
